Well, stop looking – Teledyne Controls is what you are looking for!Position Summary and ResponsibilitiesSummaryTeledyne Controls currently has an exciting opportunity as an Engineering Intern supporting our Systems Engineering Group. Under general supervision, will provide support testing of a product by creating or using current test plans, ensuring a complete system is use to simulate the full range of the product.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Will work with System Engineers to run Test Procedures on SW and HW Systems

Will support Systems Engineers in the release of Engineering Orders (EO) for active and sustaining product line designs

Will research commercially available components verifying functionality, compatibility and practicality working with Systems Engineers

Review and understand testing documents; conduct testing per testing documents

Record test results and present results as needed to responsible parties

Participate in research solutions to software defects and recommending solutions

Assist with creating and maintaining technical documentation

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Current enrollment at an accredited college/university – undergrad Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry or other similar disciplines

Maintaining a minimum of 3.2 GPA in a 4.0 grade scale

Computer Skills

Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer systems, including Windows operating system, web applications, databases and end-user applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
