For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is looking for a Senior Procurement Agent to support Commodities and Services in El Segundo, CAPosition Responsibilities:Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.

Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.

Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.

Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.

Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.

Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher.

More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.

More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.

More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):More than 5 years of experience working across multiple programs and locations.

More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.

More than 5 years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.

More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.

More than 5 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers.

More than 5 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
