This opportunity is for an Program Operations role in the FAST Product Line which is a part of the SAS S3 Mission Area. In this position the Operations role will partner with Program Management, various functions and Manufacturing centers across multiple sites to develop and execute a strategy that optimizes resources and delivers value to internal and external customers. This role will span activities beginning with the front end of the business, supporting proposal activity, planning, through the successful execution of each contract and thru eventual program closure activities.The position is responsible for the Operations cost, schedule and technical performance of business area production, repair and depot contracts. Coordination of material procurement and supplier management, assembly, testing, trouble shooting, data analysis, root cause investigations, proposal support, assist in developing EACs and ensuring appropriate staffing. Drives cross-functional teams to realize significant improvements in performance. Accountable for Program/Business area On-Time PerformanceRequired Skills:8 years of professional experience
Experience with Transition-to-Production (TTP) desired
Must understand configuration management and engineering change processes.
Control Account Management experience needed.
Proven capability to analyze data, and develop metrics and data visualization and to convey message to team and program leadership
Ability to collaborate daily with a cross functional team in a healthy, robust matrixed environment.
Experience in a Manufacturing environment that includes multiple working organizations, experience building strong cross-functional teams
Must be able to proactively identify and execute opportunities for process and yield improvement, and supportive of business initiatives including Raytheon Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.
Competence with MS Office, specifically MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrates initiative, persistence and creativity in problem solving.
Ability to access US only data systems.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
US Citizen.
Desired Skills:Active TOP SECRET Clearance highly preferred.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, team building, change management and team leadership experience and able to work with minimum direct supervision.
Ability to influence development of project objectives and goals.
Strong understanding of Defense Manufacturing Processes and Technologies
