Position is available in El Segundo, California. Job Duties Include:- Lead engineering teams to develop and deploy space and ground based SATCOM systems
- Perform system integration of multiple efforts to integrate space SATCOM systems with satellites, space SATCOM with ground SATCOM systems, and ground SATCOM systems with Satellite Operations Centers
- Direct and participate in analyses of advanced RF and digital communication applications to existing and future SATCOM systems
- Direct various systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, interface definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, systems integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, development and refinement of communications concepts of operation, and verification and validation
- Independently collaborate with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel
- Bachelor of Science and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to consent to a polygraph examination
- Experience with development, integration, and/or operations of DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.) SATCOM ground and space systems
- Experience with leading systems engineering teams focused on integration of complex space and/or ground systems
