US Tech Solutions is seeking a “Field Technician” for a 6+ month contract position with a client in El Segundo, California Job Poster: Debasish Padhy Description:Provides on-site field support to customers. Performs installations, repairs, upgrades and maintenance on hardware and equipment.Job Responsibilities:· Setting up new computers, tablets, phones, and laptops Provide hardware and software support; including client life-cycle management and all standard management for the site.· Provide requested assistance by end-users from the following channels: assigned tickets, calls, or assigned by the service support desk.· Troubleshoot issues with desktops and laptopsincluding: connectivity, blue screens, viruses and printing. Ability to provide troubleshooting assistance for IT-supported PC issues and local support; DHCP / DNS, Active Directory, wireless / wireless hotspots, printers, viruses, remote access (VPN) and Windows Domain account issues.· Manage all open requests in ServiceNow in a prompt and timely fashion; document all end-user interactions.· Setup & relocate computer workstations, printers, laptops, and peripherals.· High level proficiency using Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Chrome.· Must be able to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Work experience· 5 + YearsEducation· High School or equivalent.
