Storage Admin El Segundo CA (need from Day one onsite) Contract Skills: EMC, Netapp, ECS Cloud Storage, HP MSA, Brocade SAN switches
- L3 Engineer with EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, EMC VPLEX experience
- This individual must be familiar with EMC hardware and software products, technologies and concepts.
- They will be experienced in the engineering, designing and implementation of various EMC SAN solutions and applications.
- Ability to assist with development of technical strategies to deliver EMC solutions that support business objectives of customers.
- Background in the EMC VNX platform, including VNX troubleshooting and Recovery
- Ability to create and maintain storage allocation.
- Hands on experience with EMC Storage technologies including lsilon, VMAX, VNX, VPLEX etc.
- Excellent knowledge of existing industry standards, technologies and operational norms across both storage and systems technologies
- Knowledge of networking technologies a plus.
- Experience with virtualization, Microsoft, Linux, IBM, Cisco, SAN and replication technologies required
- Out of the box thinker with the ability to resolve complex problems
- Expert troubleshooter with a highly developed ability to resolve difficult problems and salable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience completing proactive and preventative system upgrades.
- Experience triaging support calls.
- Ability to collaborate with other Field Service Engineers.
- Background working with customers and providing excellent service
