DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan/Design - identify opportunities for improvement. Anticipate, gather, and accommodate Infrastructure requirements from stakeholders
- Build - execute project and on demand implementation tasks
- Secure - ensure Cybersecurity standards are met and maintained
- Fix - act on alerts and participate in managing issues assigned via ticket queue(s)
- Change - implement change on demand, and/or via planned activities
- Decommission - identify and eliminate obsolete/outdated technology
- Data center - multiple Co-location facilities
- Server - Dell hardware, Windows and Linux, VMware, scripting (power shell preferred)
- Automation / Management - Chef, Terraform, Tanium, Microsoft WSUS
- Monitoring / Alerting - Icinga, LogicMonitor, PagerDuty, Graylog, Splunk
- Miscellaneous - Digital Certificates, F5 Load Balancing, Infoblox, Security tools
- Network - primarily Cisco switching and routing, various firewalls
- Storage - NetApp and EMC storage arrays, Veritas NetBackup
- Database - Oracle, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL, Cassandra
- Application - Apache, Tomcat
- Tools and processes - Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, SAP, Agile
- Bachelor’s/Associate's degree in IT/IS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of enterprise server administration
- Current relevant certifications will be an asset
- Demonstrated experience with many of the listed technologies
- Excellent problem solving, prioritizing, troubleshooting, and risk management skills
