Our clients leverage powerful insights to streamline their operations, while maintaining the highest level of security and governance over critical client and corporate data.Responsibilities include:Journal preparation, journal entry and account reconciliation, assisting with audit preparation, assisting with fixed asset management, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, performing opening and closing tasks for multi-entities. Must be able to work well in a team environment. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success.Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries relating to accounts payable, cash, intercompany transactions and other accounts
Review vendor creation and invoice processing performed by Accounts Payable team
Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing procedures
Perform bank reconciliations
Maintain prepaid expense and intercompany transactions reconciliations
Assist in annual audit
Review and audit employee expense reports
Actively participate as a member of the accounting team to ensure accomplishment of departmental goals and objectives each year
Specific projects and other ad hoc assignments as required
RequirementsRequirements
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting required (related major/coursework may be considered)
Familiarity with multi-currency accounting system a plus
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounting
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Applications including advanced knowledge of Excel
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Enjoy working in an informal environment with a "start-up" culture
