As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Assemble monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Other projects as necessary
Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
RequirementsAbility to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
If you are proficient in financial reporting, you should apply for this position
10+ years of overall general accounting experience
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Deep understanding of bank reconciliations
Solid understanding of Month-end Close Activities
Expertise in Accrual Entries
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
