Join our mission today.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the overall day to day operation of the 1nd shift Packaging department.Working in close coordination with 2nd shift supervisor and delivery assurance managers.Maintain daily reports of number of units/line items/ pick tickets packaged.Management of the packaging team including training and documentation, coaching and conducting reviews, and keeping work areas organized.Ensure compliance to all procedures, instructions, policies, operating systems, performance objectives, as well as with the DoT, DoD and ATF rules and regulations.Conduct reviews of the packaging processes to identify areas of improvements.Ensures the packaging team is working in the most safe and efficient way and with the least downtime possible, while still maintaining staff safety and process quality.Experience and Skills Required:Ability to effectively communicate with direct reports and across all departments.Minimum of 2 years of supervisory and/or leadership experience.Experience in SAP, government related logistics, international trade compliance, and aerospace experience is preferred, but not required.Ability to utilize Word, Excel and Power Point to produce metrics as well as reports for management.Root Cause and Corrective ActionNote:Background check and drug screen required (every external new hire in the U.S.)Drug Screens for re-hires only performed for previous employees who have been gone from the company for more than 1 yearRaytheon Technologies is An EqualOpportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer.
