AgreeYa Solutions is looking for an Accounting Assistant to help provide assistance to our Accounting Payroll department. We also facilitate the relationship between clients and suppliers through processing billing and payments.
Job Description:Under the direction of an Accounting Supervisor or Manager, the Accounting Assistant provides administrative and data entry support for all aspects of the Accounting and Payroll Operations. The Accounting Assistant should be at an entry level role intended to provide valuable support for the department.Demonstrate solid experience in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to independently manage time to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities:- Performs administrative and office support activities for the Accounting department.
- Duties may include creating reports, invoice creation, process check request, and supporting ad-hoc projects.
- Establish priorities to effectively and efficiently meet timelines/deadlines while ensuring work is accurate and well organized.
- Data-entry, Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
- Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
- Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
- Create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
- Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
- BA/BS Degree Preferred
- 1-2 Years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications with ability to communicate in an organized and efficient manner.
- Ability to interact professionally with management and staff in a team environment
