Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. Must have experience with shipping and tracking shipment on client's website. Candidates need to have some shipping experience where they had to update a tracking system. They aren’t in need of forklift experience and they are not looking for someone that uses a scanner gun , as this will mainly be picking/shipping/PC work. Day Shift: 6am startPrimary FunctionResponsible for performing a variety of duties within a manufacturing environment including production and manufacturing process operations. Key responsibilities will include:Sets up and operates fabrication processes and equipment to produce consumable products.Follows detailed work instructions associated with each machine and or business process.Performs a variety of process support tasks including maintenance of records and/or databases.Coordinates and facilitates processes by ensuring the proper flow of information and/or materials.Supports preventative maintenance program and inventory control activities with data entry, report generation and reconciliation.Provides back-up support for administrative and materials/procurement personnel in other manufacturing departments.Required to work and communicate cross functionally with company personnel at all organizational levels.Manages and completes multiple tasks and projects which require planning and judgment.Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.Participates, cooperates, and contributes as part of a team.Identifies and implements improvements within assign area.Develops solutions on how to resolve issues that are identified during daily work.Provides feedback to supervisor, lead technician or technical support group on safety, quality, interpersonal and process related issues.Ability to routinely lift up to 25lbs and stand for up to 8 hours.Required Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing, customer service and/or high throughput environments.Basic math, verbal & written communication skills, and aptitude to follow complex instructions.Strong attention to detail, skills to multi-task and organize thoughts as needed.Capability to adapt to changing prioritiesWillingness to work overtime as required and competence in planning and maintaining area throughput.Desired Qualifications:3+ years' experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment, academic lab or equivalent educational background.Hands-on experience in a chemistry and or biochemical manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, and Word.Experience with SAP or related ERP system.Experience in inventory management is a plus.Capability to adapt to changing priorities.Applicants must provide their phone number.
