Engineering Technician (UNIX, DOS, DRAM/DIMM, DDR)

Working closely with - Validation Engineers, the candidate performs - Validation testing on memory modules installed in platforms inside thermal chambers using UNIX and DOS based software. The candidate should have at least 2yrs of building computers, be familiar with computer hardware. Candidate should also have some understanding of DRAM/DIMM and different memory Technologies. Prepares documentation and provides engineers with status update on - Validation testing. Candidate should have good knowledge of using SW such as Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Must have good communication skills, be able to Iearn fast, work well with others and in a tense environment. A brief description of the team/environment they will be working, i.e. size, reporting lines, fast paced etc.o Candidate will be working in a lab with a team of 6 or peopleo For the most part this job is a fast pace environment (5) essential and desirable skills/ experience required for the role? Background on building computers, be familiar with computer hardware (2yrs+ exp), DDR / memory modules for servers , good knowledge of using SW such as Microsoft Windows, Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word), good communication skills, able to Iearn fast HS diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
