Title: Hardware Lab AssistantLocation: Foster City, CADuration: 6+ Months Job Description: As a Hardware Lab Assistant at Client company, you'd be entering an exciting team with exposure to many hardware creation technologies. The Hardware Lab Assistant will help in the various departments as demand dictates. This individual will be well served with a self-starting nature and an appetite to contribute-to and learn-from a group of professionals with an eye toward being a true Team player and develop your skills and understanding of multiple technologies and workflows. Responsibilities:- Support in all Labs (training provided for all responsibilities)
- Process 3D printed parts
- Labelling and internal transporting on QC lab parts
- Cutting stock material for CNC
- Waterjet operation
- Adhere to all shop safety standards PPE etc.
- Maintaining orderly and clean work spaces
- HS Degree or GED
- User level computer knowledge
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties on time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to quickly problem solve and deliver on high pressure situations
- Possess a "get it done" attitude and a sense of urgency to resolve problems and tasks.
