Senior Desktop Support SpecialistIMMEDIATE NEED for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist to join a leading nationwide IT services company for a contract to hire role in Foster City, CA. This position will support multiple clients in the Bay area, with mileage and parking reimbursed. The company offers a competitive benefits package that includes 401K match.

Responsibilities:
  • File servers, set up new users, end user onboarding and offboarding, break/fix printers, mobile device configuration, email troubleshooting, etc.
  • Diagnose and remedy network, hardware, software, server and peripheral product issues
  • Install and configure new computers and perform routine computer maintenance as needed
  • Perform upgrades, implementations, configurations and design
  • Document customer tickets in system and account for billable time
  • Work independently and travel to client locations

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in network and system administration (Windows, Mac, Unix, and/or Linux)
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop administration
  • 3+ years of experience in Exchange/Active Directory
  • Certifications are preferred: MCTS/MCP Server 2008 or above, MCTS/MCP Exchange 2007 or above, CompTIA Server+, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), VMware Certified, Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC)
