10614 - Sr. Client Services Consultant – KMNA

PURPOSE:This role is responsible for supporting the KMNA business unit as a key advocate to lead and manage the CCS business planning, strategy, development, and operational support. This position will have multiple responsibilities covering a wide range of operations:
  • Client Service Engagement – Foster positive relationships with our clients as their primary point of contact to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable, and enduring.
  • Consultative Value – Provide advisory services to help our business clients solve the right business challenges and effectively leverage technology
  • Client Account Management – Execution of contracts; ensuring that contract terms and conditions are adhered to; Client reporting, billing, and invoicing are completed in collaboration with the financial team.
  • Project Management – From concept through funding approval to successful delivery, manage and lead projects in partnership with the product development team; adhere to agreed methodology and standards; and provide desired results.
  • Business Improvement – identifying and delivering revenue and profit-boosting business improvement opportunities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Functions as a key advocate for Client Business Units (CBUs); Serves as a single point of contact to manage the business relationship with the client to ensure the effective delivery of the connectivity services.
  • Act as a leader to manage all aspects of CBUs service-related business development and operations, including billing, reporting, maintaining contract compliance; and facilitating contract development and amendments with clients, HMG affiliates, and partners.
  • Understand business clients' needs, define executable scope, approach, and priorities, and works closely with product management teams to relay client requirements to ensure that product development reflects client needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of new technology trends and applicability to our clients; understand cost/benefit trade-offs for alternative solutions; contribute to IT strategy roadmap relevant to technologies and applications supporting the client business area.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on connected car products, processes, systems, and overall customer experience.
  • Responsible for contributing and formulating data for executive reports.
  • Coordinate with all internal departments for client proposal creation.
  • Participates in the client's business and strategic planning process.
  • Leads the calls with technical, account management, vendors, and/or the client when necessary.
  • Lead various projects related to account management, client service, and partner management.
  • Handles implementation requests ranging from complex to simple.
  • Act as a consultant to assist other Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) client companies to enhance the connected car services.
  • Keep clients updated on the status of service implementation and business operations.
  • Manage subordinate Business Process Analysts, as applicable.
  • Create/manage customer pricing models to align with the company's strategic direction.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in the field of business, computers, information systems or related degree.
  • 10 years of IT exp. or industry work experience in consulting, strategic product planning, business process design and IT governance and/or relevant project experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the Telematics, telecommunications, or automobile industry.
  • Consulting experience at a Big4 consulting company, highly desirable
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
  • Ability to interface and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees
  • Utilize best practices for general business, administrative, and operational procedures.
  • Efficient with multitasking between multiple projects
  • High attention to detail with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization and a strong passion for helping customers plan and build on our technology
  • Client-first mentality; ability to empathize and build positive client relationships
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Ability to interpret difficult instructions, derive valid conclusions, and recommend reasonable courses of actions within the scope of the position.
  • Well organized with ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Utilize best practices for general business, administrative, and operational procedures.
  • PMP (preferred)
