DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Program Manager who enjoys his work and is one of the best within your organization. The ideal Program Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Business Acumen - Will have customer visibility and responsibility for the relationship. Will not be an Account Manager, but will work closely with him
- Regulated Environment Experience (FDA or GMP or ISO) - Ideally Medical, but will also consider Automotive
- Mechanical / Electromechanical Product PM experience (and not IT Experience)
- Strong Program Management Experience
- Strong Communication Skills
