- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study.
- 10+ years of design and development of extremely high-volume mission-critical applications and systems using Java programming language.
- Expertise with distributed systems and design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance.
- Should have experience with Rest APIs, Cassandra, Zookeeper or any other NoSQL Database.
- Sound knowledge of native cloud development experience preferably Google Cloud, AWS or Azure.
- Proven experience working in Technical Leadership mentoring junior engineers.
- Excellent diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of deployment techniques and orchestration technologies for managing large numbers of servers a huge plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in fast paced production environment end to end, prefer candidates who worked in startups
- Experience working in cross-functional collaborative environment is plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lead L2/L3 engineering support as extension of customer's core product engineering team.
- Take ownership and accountability for technology solution and output delivered by the team
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to more junior Java developers
- Troubleshooting (along with GSC) and fixing On-prem Customers issues
- Production availability Bug fixes that may involve code fixes, config changes, operations activities, RCA (root cause analysis), customer discussions and required documentation.
- Prioritized P2 features and bugs
- Security updates/patches which may involve code fixes, config changes, operations activities and deployment (code pushes to production).
