As a Full Stack Engineer you will blend deep data visualization skill with a strong report and dashboard development background and a keen business sense to help develop a leading edge information security metrics reporting solutions that will help drive informed business decisions for Global Security. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting security business intelligence reports and dashboards, in partnership with internal business stake-holders, and security and engineering teams. You will lead enhancements and small-scale projects (from inception through to production) and will be responsible for creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that house information on security systems performance, vulnerabilities, threats, incident and compliance data related to the organization. The perfect candidate will have a background in a quantitative or technical field, will have experience working with large data sets, and will have some experience in data-driven decision making. Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Data Analytics and Engineering team to understand existing security data and then create visually compelling and accurate security reports and dashboards to support Information Security and Risk Metrics, historical data trend analysis, and identification of opportunities to drive continuous process improvement
  • Develop report templates and fit relevant security metrics data into the templates
  • Building key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis
  • Use Tableau to contextualize information in a manner suitable to executive audiences
  • Identify key business metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements
  • Cultivate an understanding of security concepts to assist in identifying ongoing information, measurement and reporting needs
  • Work with internal clients and other team members to understand and define reporting requirements
  • Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and reporting/dishoarding best practices
  • Make management reporting more actionable and real time. Actionable requires better data, calculations or visualizations/presentations. Real time requires building scalable processes that help deliver more frequent data
  • Document reporting requirements and define report templates and dashboard specifications
  • Establish, maintain and ensure adherence to application standards for data reporting
  • Perform the maintenance of all reports and dashboards
  • Possess strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to recognize and evaluate facts, to objectively analyze situations, and to synthesize and organize data/information from multiple sources and highlight salient facts
  • Create integrations and ETLs as necessary. This role is about more than piping data into one database but the data needs to all be in one place to best analyze it
Qualifications:
  • Extensive SQL experience including stored procedures, complex joins, creation of views, database scripting and performance tuning
  • Strong experience with Tableau and with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting (ie R, Mathlab, Python)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics (or related field) or 5+ years of work experience in the field
  • 5+ years of advanced data reporting, data visualization, and executive dashboard creation
  • Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Access; SharePoint

  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
