Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. (ABC) is now hiring for part time tutors to provide 1:1 services in the homes of children on the Autism Spectrum. Cases are based throughout Fresno and Madera counties. These services are provided in the client's homes. We are looking for someone with a positive team player attitude, high work ethic, who is extremely reliable and has the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.

We are hiring for part time positions at this time. Case hours will vary between 10-20 hours per week. These positions are part time (Average 10-15 hours per week) and take place in 2- 4 hour shifts.Staff must have availability between Monday-Friday 1:30 PM- 6:30 PM or M-F 3:00- 6:30 PM.

Job Description

Tutors will work 1:1 with clients and implement lesson plans that are based on their client's skills, deficits, communication needs and behavioral difficulties in order to assist the child in reaching their full potential. They are responsible for communicating with team supervisors to ensure clients are receiving the best quality of services possible.

Tutors are also responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and program records and maintaining client confidentiality at all times. They will also attend group training to meet ABC's goal of remaining on the cutting edge of ABA and ensuring that the client always comes first.

Job requirements

Preferred Requirements: AA or BA and 6 months experience.

Basic requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years old

- Provide Negative TB test (less than 4 years old) and proof of immunization against Mumps, Measles, Chicken pox and Rubella prior to start of position.

- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

-A clear criminal background check prior to start of position

- Must commit to scheduled hours for a minimum of 6 months.

- Staff MUST be available Monday-Friday. 1:30- 6:30 or Monday-Friday 3:00- 6:30.

-Valid Driver License and your own reliable insured transportation. Daily travel is required for this position

-Be able to run, be active for long periods of time (including sitting on the floor, climbing stairs, standing for long periods of time) lift at least 50 pounds and handle intensive physical behaviors displayed by clients

-Must relate well to children and families and be able to remain professional in stressful situations

- Excellent English Oral and Written Communication Skills

All staff are required to attend a 5 day PAID training in Stockton before beginning hands on training with their clients in the Fresno area.
