A 30 year old construction and building material company
is looking for an experienced Commercial Storefront Estimator.
Requirements, Qualifications, Job Description:
min. 2 years experience estimating
familiar with WinBidPro, GDS or similar estimating program
evaluate the project & determine the scope of work with the Production Team
review all architectural drawings, specifications and other information
evaluates the project construction schedule for mock ups, material delivery and installation and work with our Production Manager
prepares a complete quantity survey (take off) for all materials to be included in the scope of bid
estimates all field and shop hours required for the scope of work
prepare a complete and accurate cost estimate for the project
ethical
analytical skills
sales skills
knowledge and experience related to all glazing systems
Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel
Bluebeam and other estimating tools
residential window and door experience a plus
Salary (based on experience) + Commission potential income over $100K per year for qualified candidates
