Millwright Mechanic - Bishop, California

The Millwright Mechanic performs maintenance and mechanical repairs of plant equipment.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Perform welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Capability of trouble shooting plant operations issues, performing plant repairs and preventative maintenance.
Read meters and gauges, automatic recording devices.
Perform visual inspections at specified intervals to verify proper operating conditions.
Record data such as production rates, inventory levels or other applicable data as required.
Operate and inspect (at periodic intervals) stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as; conveyor
systems, dust control equipment, blowers, bins and hopers, air compressors, generators, and motors.
Perform maintenance of equipment: detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustments tightening fittings or
lubrication.
Report data to appropriate personnel.
Maintain operations applicable to the proper operation of the rock plant.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Two + years of experience in materials and plant operations and Minimum five years in a materials
mechanical environment
Ability to lift to 50 pounds
Provide own tools
Previous supervisory experience is helpful
Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work.
Capability of functioning in a fast-paced working environment.
Welding, fabrication and maintenance experience required
