System and Security Administrator

Under the direction of the Assistant Information Technology Manager, the System and Security Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the design and development of the Credit Union's technologies and processes.

Some responsibilities are:

Manages Active Directory administration, security, auditing, and compliance with Netwrix Auditor.

Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.

Performs the timely administration and logging of user accounts' access rights across the application portfolio.

Ensures that applications, servers, and backup processes are effective, reliable, efficient, and replicating to our disaster recovery site with Veeam Enterprise Backup.

Develops and implements a standard set of security requirements, technical designs, and recommended configurations for servers, workstations, and printers.

Maintains security policies, processes, and procedures documentation.

Researches, recommends, and implements solutions to improve systems security and administration.

Analyzes system logs and can interpret those logs to identify potential issues within the computer systems, and to resolve those issues.

Participates in business continuity tests and disaster recovery.

May be required to drive a motor vehicle to various sites.

Follows policies and procedures related to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) to ensure daily compliance with current regulations.

Knowledge and skills required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field, or a minimum of eight years equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory, Security, Windows Server, Windows Workstation, Office 365, SCCM, NetWrix, Veeam, PCI Compliance, Disaster Recover, Azure, PDQ.

Ability to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends.

Ability to perform duties accurately and timely, with frequent interruptions.

Ability to be bonded.
