First Security Services has immediate job opening for unarmed security officers at a cannabis establishment in the Fresno, CA area. All shifts available please reply with your resume.
Requirements:
Successful Candidates will possess the following:
Minimum two years armed experience, prior military a PLUS
Valid California Guard Card
Valid Drivers License
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to work for any employer in the US
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18+ years or older
Education and/or Experience:
Education and Certification:
High School diploma or GED required
Valid BSIS guard card
Responsibilities include:
Officers are responsible for enhancing safety and security by remaining alert at all times while ensuring security is always friendly and approachable
Must be knowledgeable and proficient in general security industry standards and methods.
Provides advanced skills and experience in people and conflict management
Operates and conducts investigations with tact and discretion
Must be flexible and possess operational judgment in stressful situations with shifting priorities and challenges
Exceptional observation skills with attention to details
Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive communication style
Effectively communicate with all levels of management
With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
