Our company is looking for a fabricator/Layout/Fitter with a minimum of 1-year experience in structural steel industry. If you meet the following requirements, please email your resume in PDF or Word format.
1. Able to correctly identify material for fabrication.
2. An understanding of shop drawings.
3. Capable of Fitting Columns, Beams, Frames in an efficient manner.
4. Must be able to correctly piece mark beams, columns, frames, etc.
5. Understanding of proper identification of no paint zones.
6. Understanding of grinding of copes, holes and bevels.
7. Proficient with oxy torch, ironworkers, grinders, drills and other small tools.
This position is very active and frequently requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. This is a full-time position that operates on weekends as required.
