We are a fast-growing company with over 100 trucks that operate nationwide. We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented individual.
This position will support the Transportation Safety Department by reviewing safety sensitive data. This role acts as the depository of critical DOT compliance data while monitoring safety performance KPIs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provides on the job assistance to employees in various safety programs and safety conscious behavior by demonstrating and explaining correct processes and procedures by holding safety briefings with drivers.
Ensures compliance with safety regulations administrated by federal, state and local laws and by performing walk around and observing driver performance.
Promotes safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda, specific training programs and safety reward program acknowledgments and rewards.
Administers driver hiring and compliance process
Investigates accidents, incidents, and work-related injuries and determine corrective action
Prepares and submits accident-related compliance forms, maintains DQ files, and enters in system
Provides various reports and analyzes safety trends
