Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionMaintain and repair all plant equipment for the Food Manufacturing plant, including boiler and wastewater systems, packaging department, and manufacturing food process machinery. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in the Maintenance department.Job responsibilities include but not limited to: Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment Practice safe work habits and wear proper PPE Follows proper lockout tag-out procedures as required Complete all OSHA required training, correct and report any unsafe conditions as necessary Complete work orders and assignments on time without errors as directed by supervisor ormanager Perform package changeovers on equipment as required Perform preventive maintenance inspections, adjustments, and repairs as indicated on theCMMS program Participate in daily meetings and reports maintenance department objectives and opportunities Install / rebuild equipment Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems Develop preventive maintenance needs and hydraulic systems Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems of food processing and industrial machinery in atimely manner Independently perform all assignments after being given general instructions as to the resultsexpected Coordinate several projects at the same time while prioritizing completing demands of the timeframes Perform other duties as assignedResponsibilities
Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment.
