They will oversee all production equipment to meet daily production goals while ensuring safety and the use of standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices. They will assist in the supervision of employees and department goals.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee line leads and distribute work to multiple linesRegularly use lean tools, such as daily management and kaizen (5S, Standard Work, Kanban, etc.).Maintain high quality standards and compliance throughout the areas while practicing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Keep track of production scrap, output, lead times and productivity for each department.Lead and update Daily Management BoardResponsible for the 5S of the area, equipment availability and uptimeBack up supervisor in approving time cards in ADP.ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay be assigned other duties as neededCRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:High intelligence and well-developed analytical skillsUnquestionably high ethical standards and attention to reputational and compliance risksLack of ego; team-first mentalityAbility to prioritize tasks in real time and exercise judgment in high-paced, high-stakes environmentClear and organized communications skills (written and verbal)Presence; ability to lead and manage project teams with a range of experience and skillsWill display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity, and will be non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by allSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent formal education/training in a related field.Familiar with manufacturing process practices and proceduresBasic MS Office skills.
