Who Are We?

We have TWO special event venues in Grass Valley, CA. We produce extraordinary, memorable events of all types, including: Weddings, Anniversaries, Corporate Events, Community Events and much more.

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a full time WEDDING SALES AND COORDINATOR to join our team and help us book and host events at our venues.

In this role you will take ownership, accountability, and responsibility for all wedding sales and planning. You will thrive in a very fast-pace environment where attention to detail and managing follow up is key. You will work with our in-house venue coordinator and team to assure guests are taken care of at the highest level and event details executed with excellence, working to satisfy each client's unique vision.

You will understand the importance of follow up, coaching, checklists, using a playbook and delivering excellence in all you do. In short, you will be responsible for working with our team and our clients to book and coordinate the events of their dreams while watching labor costs.

Who Are You?

Anyone who joins our team must be a consummate professional who is self-motivated, driven toward excellence, great with clients and other team members, committed to making every interaction, with your team or a client, in sync with our vision.

In this role, specifically, you will have a minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry. You will be known for consistently working with sales goals and clients toward excellence. You will use your time wisely and utilize your support team to your benefit and know when to ask others for assistance and guidance. You will understand the importance of a polished presence, an affable manner, a focus on results and creating 'Raving Fans' with all our clients and guests. Nothing else could be acceptable to you!

You will be a leader in your role at our venues. You will be a master of communication and organization in your realm. You will have a proven track record showing full understanding of necessary systems for sales and adhere to our set of proven process. You will continually work toward improving your skills with self-development. You do not waste time and can work well in a busy sometimes hectic environment. You will be self-directed, enthusiastic and able to work well with our in-house team.

Job Requirements:

Ability to self-direct and lead/manage others in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to contribute and work within our event packages

Strong sales skills

Participation in networking and collaborative sessions for generating more business and marketing events to create more business

Ability to learn our company vision and to exceed prospect expectation

Excellent communication and leadership skills with entire team including owner

Transparency, honesty and ability to grow and develop

Ability to work within and develop useable and effective systems for managing events

Loves working with couple and their families and with a team of sometimes new, sometimes seasoned service team

Computer literate and savvy with learning new programs to systematize aspects of your position

Good rapport with people and ability to work with prospects and customers to assist in building business at events

Excellent organization skills and ability to create and follow checklists

Ability to be flexible and open to new ideas

Calm and focused under pressure

A mature communicator

Willingness to be a team player and to interact with clients to create events within their vision

Tenacious with a drive to succeed despite objections and challenges

Ability to work within stated corporate culture

Familiar with and able to drive leads from social media

Clean driving record and ability to drive company van

The ability to smile and laugh and to contribute to a happy environment

Live within 30 minutes of Grass Valley preferred
