Chiropractic Assistant / Reception for maternity leave coverage or longer (Auburn CA)
Part-time: 20+ hours per week: Monday: 8-12, 2-6, Wednesday: 2-6pm, Friday 8-12, 2-6pm
Location: Auburn CA
Looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic "multi-tasker" with a love for helping people. Candidate must have an exceptional work ethic, great customer service, organizational and communication skills. The ideal person is detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and work accurately and efficiently. Proficient computer skills including data entry, Microsoft Word, and familiarity with "Office Ally" chiropractic/medical billing software preferred. Candidate must be health conscious and enthusiastic about chiropractic health and wellness. Previous chiropractic experience is not necessary but would be helpful. Banking , optometry , dental , medical reception / assisting type skills also valued.
Front office duties include but not limited to the following:
. Welcoming patients, answering phone, scheduling appointments
. Receiving and recording payments, bank deposits
Maintain patient files, record keeping, data entry
Insurance/patient billing/collections
Communicate with patients over the phone and in-person
Insurance paperwork, verification
Maintain office supplies and patient treatment supplies
. Be willing to learn established office procedures
Back office duties include:
. Facilitate Doctor's treatment and patient comfort
Preparing treatment rooms for a patient visit
Occasionally assist the doctor with therapeutic modalities
General office light housekeeping
