Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in QuickBooks, and can manage multiple accounting functions efficiently. This position handles reconciliations, year-end processes, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process incoming invoices and bills
Prepare payments via checks and online bill pay
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance
Record credit card charges
Accounts Receivable
Prepare and send invoices
Record and process incoming payments
Monitor collections as needed
Make deposits
Payroll
Process payroll and quarterly and year end reports
Prepare and submit workers’ compensation reports and payments
Manage employee leave accruals
Other Duties
Manage petty cash
Assist with year end tax preparation
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Employment Information
Full-time, hourly

Required Experience
3+ years of recent full-time bookkeeping experience using QuickBooks consistently
Required Skills & Traits
Expertise with QuickBooks and Excel
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills
Self-directed and able to work independently
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Collaborative team player
Must pass a background check prior to start date (conducted only after an employment offer)
