Software Developer R&B Communications seeks a talented individual to join our software development team. R&B is a 12 year old company based in Grass Valley that provides a broad range of web/mobile development and support services to both national scale IT projects as well as to more localized small to medium sized businesses in the greater Sacramento area. Strong candidates need not have extensive experience but will show a strong interest in learning and broadening their skillsets.
Desirable Background includes:
1-3 years of relevant experience
experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
proficiency with PHP - have you built something using PHP?
experience with Magento and WordPress coding would be a plus!
experience with front end web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc.)
good knowledge of data structures and programming concepts (scalable, maintainable, optimized code, etc.)
Other Qualifications:
Self-Starter - Strong interest in learning and broadening skillsets
Client Interaction - Ability to work directly with clients (primarily email)
Multiplex Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in parallel
Communication Able to communicate clearly and succinctly email, phone, in-person

Additional Info:
We are based in Grass Valley, CA and are looking for candidates that will work from our company headquarters at least 3 days/week. Standard working hours (8:30am 5pm) on weekdays are expected as a general rule with telecommute flexibility for 2 days/week after satisfactory completion of initial 60 days.
Compensation will be set based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We are a 15 person company looking to grow and thus every new hire is a critical addition. We offer a profit sharing program as well as a broad diversity of project work and opportunity to develop new skillsets in a fast paced environment.
