K S Telecom Inc. specializes in low voltage cabling and components. We are currently looking to fill several full-time Telecommunication technician positions. The work is located in the Greater Sacramento Area. You must be willing to travel and work out of town. Lodging and meal subsidies are provided. Many of our upcoming jobs are prevailing wage which pays between $45 and $60 per hour. We are a non-union shop and all fringe benefits are paid to the employee with the exception of training. After a probationary period, we offer health insurance, paid holidays, and a Simple IRA plan with company matching.

Our company works in the commercial, educational and industrial industries installing low voltage systems including fiber optic, voice, data, IP cameras, access control, TV, CCTV and CATV. We are looking for honest, eager, hardworking people that are willing to work a variety of hours within the greater Sacramento area. Our normal coverage area is Chico to Merced and from the Bay to the Nevada border. All applicants will need to pass a drug test, be able to work and stay out of town if needed during the work week, and be able to work regular and off shifts (normally after school hours). We require a high school diploma, clean background check, a California driver's license, and a clean driving record.

To apply for the Journeyman position we require that you have a minimum of 5 years of commercial telecom work, experience with horizontal cabling and pathways, termination, patch panels, testing, the ability to comprehend/ read/ adjust plans as needed, have reliable transportation, already possess the required tools, have strong leadership and team working abilities. Preference may be given to someone who has graduated from a California Accredited Apprenticeship Program. Computer programing and configuration skills are greatly encouraged, but not necessary.
