We're seeking Drivers! We're hiring temporary/extra-help Elections Aides to assist the Elections Division with driving County vehicles (vans and box cars) in order to locate polling places and pick up ballots and other supplies. This recruitment may be used to fill general/clerical vacancies as they occur but at this time we are primarily looking for drivers.
This is a temporary/extra-help assignment limited to 999 hours (or 960 hours for CalPERS retired annuitants) in a fiscal year.
Minimum Qualifications:
It is the responsibility of applicants to identify in their application materials how they meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
Experience: Some work or voluntary experience including public contact which provides the abilities required above.
Training: Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
License or Certificate:
May need to possess a valid driver's license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
