The Opportunity Participate in the full development life cycle of InTouch Healths Windows Provider Access Software application under the guidance of the Windows Provider Access Software technical lead. We need passionate, bright, engineering interns to help develop our Provider Access Software application that is used by thousands of doctors around the globe to save lives. You must be detail oriented, logical, and never settle for second best. Responsibilities
- Help design and development of new features, products, and utilities for the Windows Provider Access Software application
- Assist in identifying new technologies for implementation
- Work with various members of the team to help write technical specifications based on user stories and business requirements
- Support, maintain, document, and write unit tests
- Work with automation engineers to create and develop automated tests
- Participate in backlog grooming session
- Participate and conduct design reviews
- Work under general supervision of the technical lead of the group
- Identify gaps in our software and help refactor existing code
- The nature of work is interdisciplinary, and our teammates come from varying backgrounds e.g. (Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Production Engineer). - Experience with C, general OO concepts, and best practices.
- Understands Windows desktop application development
- Some experience with web technologies (JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, etc.)
- Has worked with Perforce or GitHub
- Devotion to continuing your education and understanding of software development best practices
- Typically requires up to 0-2 years of experience
- Currently enrolled in a reputable university and obtaining a 4 year degree or equivalent
- English-language written and spoken communication skills
