Wage Ranges:
Maintenance Specialist I: $1,541.25 - $1,958.49 biweekly
Maintenance Specialist II: $1,771.71 - $2,250.89 biweekly
Typical Duties:
Installs, maintains and repairs water production and water distribution facilities. Includes maintenance of wells, booster pumps, water reservoirs and tanks, chemical systems, water quality monitoring, and water meter installation/repair.
Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Water Maintenance Specialist I: Equivalent to graduation from high school and one year of construction, maintenance or repair experience related to the assigned work.
Water Maintenance Specialist II: In addition to the above, two years of semi-skilled maintenance experience related to the assigned work at a level equivalent to the Maintenance Specialist I.
