If you are a strong SQL Developer and Data Analyst with experience in handling large quantities of data and complex data tables. This position is what you are looking for. This position will work with the integrated BI tools to ingest data from the company’s ERP system. Primarily working with the CEO, Department Directors and Managers to understand their reporting needs and help them make data-related decisions using their ETL knowledge and experience.
- Create and provide a monthly management report to top level management
- Build efficient and stable data pipelines
- Write SQL quires and tables that meet production requirements and assists in providing real time production information
- Design, create, and manage, the use of large databases
- Creation and management of large spreadsheets with a design structure that supports ERP Integration
- Investigate data to identify potential issues within ETL pipelines, notify end-users and propose adequate solutions
- Develop, implement, and maintain databases that support integration and production automation such as CARICOM, Data flex, and other web base programs
- Compile production reports needed by various cross functional departments and execute reports in our BI tool
- Maintain user rights in the BI tools and execute user profiles as needed
- Provide user support and BI user navigation training
- Maintain web base service programs such as Clarisoft, RedZone Tableau, etc.
- Manage and ensure with data integrity of our ERP system
- Assist in locating and identifying process improvement opportunities as they relate to data integration
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and KPI’s to locate and correct issues with data integrity in our ERP system
- Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to improve teamwork within cross functional departments
- Learn new tools and technologies as needed
- Interact with various stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, develop project plan and team to address along with Gantt chart for timeline
- Transition reporting functions to automated methodology
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably three years’ experience in working with databases in a production environment
- Expert in SQL knowledge
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage X3, SAP or Oracle
- Knowledge of data modeling principles
- Knowledge of at least one ETL tool, preferred experience with Tableau Prep
- Passionate about complex data structures and problem solving
- Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
- In-depth database knowledge as well as basic programming and scripting skills
