Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.PRODUCTION COORDINATOR – 2ND SHIFTThe Propulsion Components team develops the most advanced spacecraft and launch vehicle components in the world, serving as hardware experts for the flow control devices and mechanisms that drive the critical capabilities on our Dragon and Falcon vehicles - from engine throttling to attitude control. The team designs and builds valves, regulators, and actuators for maximum reliability in extreme environments, with temperatures ranging from +900F to -400F and pressures beyond 10,000 psig. The Production Coordinator is a critical position within our Propulsion Components team. This role is responsible for serving as a liaison between different organizations through the company to ensure that test equipment and components flow smoothly through the production area to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the production flow to ensure timely delivery to next production location as well as coordinate off-site processing of parts

Ensure parts are handled and protected properly and within SpaceX specifications

Work with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurate

Develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables and constraints as required for internal/leadership and customer use

Analyze available data and assist with resolution of incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failure

Support projects, productivity development activities, and work order management activities within assigned production cells

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalency certificate

1+ years of experience with manufacturing administration processes

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in organizing files and documents

Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems

Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments

SQL and Tableau experience

APICS certification

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is a 2nd shift position and requires working from 3:00pm to 12:00am

Must be available for all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted

Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minimum
