- EV application development including vehicle research, hardware prototyping, control function model development and documentation
- Testing and tuning of control functions and models
- Debug and resolve design problems based on feedback from testers
- Adapt new CAN slave inverter applications to existing control logic
- Validate CAN peripheral device interface requirements using CAN network debugging tools
- Build test harnesses and test benches
- Develop and test battery management system (BMS) logic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, related discipline or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of Matlab/Simulink experience
- Ability to understand PCB design schematics
- Ability to design and assemble automotive quality wiring harnesses
- Automotive EFI tuning experience
- Closed loop control system experience
- Automotive CAN experience
