You’ll build and extend highly scalable services, configurable workflows, interoperation of web services with on-premises devices, and aspects of their customer experience on web applications and their proprietary devices. You will contribute to all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, validation, and release. Along with the technical challenges, you will have the opportunity to develop deep domain knowledge while interacting with business and technical stakeholders. To be successful, you’ll need to be self-driven, deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with peers and leaders.
Ideal Candidate:4-8 years of development expStrong background in object-oriented programming (C)Has done full stack development but open to someone that is slanted towards the front or back and wants to become a Full Stack DeveloperTraditional IT education, vs a code camp/certification programComes from a company that produces a tangible product (consumer electronics, iot), vs a services firm (financial, insurance, etc.)REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate degree preferred
- 4 years of professional experience in software product development
- Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming in Java, C#, C, or Python
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and distributed/SOA system design; experience with embedded systems, IoT, or enterprise software preferred
- Experience in using best practices for software engineering and continuous process improvement in an agile environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
