Trinidad Retreats, a busy vacation rental business is now hiring for seasonal housekeeping positions May - September. Schedule varies between 15 - 40 hours/week with fewer hours in May during probationary period maximum hours June - August and starts to decrease again in September. Work days also vary but will include weekends. No vacation time will be offered for this seasonal position.
We manage approximately 40 fully furnished, vacation rentals from small cottages to large, contemporary homes located in Arcata, McKinleyville and Trinidad. We pride ourselves on exceptionally clean homes. Professional housekeeping experience desirable. Looking for someone with a flexible schedule who pays attention to detail, has strong communication skills, is responsible and reliable, physically hardworking and who is able to easily multi-task . Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and climb stairs. Must have a reliable car with proof of insurance and a smartphone. Days vary and will include weekends. Seeking candidates who are efficient with time, detailed oriented, thorough, and punctual. Team player and be able to work independently. Problem solve easily, take all forms of feedback well, and fix issues and concerns easily. Communicates easily. Hours generally are between 11 am - 4 pm but may be anytime between 9 am - 6 pm. Hours will increase throughout the summer as the busy tourist season peaks in July and August. Hourly wage plus mileage and cell phone allowance.
