Landscaping and Brush Clearing Crew Member with Advancement Potential

Hello. I run a number of local gardening, landscaping and extreme brush clearing businesses here in Humboldt. I am looking for an individual to add to the team.
Pay is starts at $15.00 an hour with job security based on your performance, motivation, self drive, orientation to detail, demonstration of skills, willing to learn new ones, and my trust that you can work alone at times. This goes for raises as well. Once you start working alone pay jumps to $16.00 an hour across the board. Certain Jobs pay more. There are also other ways to make extra money up.
Perks for all workers - 15 min. breaks very 2 hours and a friendly work environment.
Position Available:
Crew member. Full time - 32 to 40 hours a week. This position allows some flexibility in you making your own schedule as long it is 2 to 3 weeks advance notice. You must be able to run a weed whacker from waist level to ground level for up to 8 hrs., with 15 minute breaks every two hours in between. You also need to be able to be on the ground on your knees (weed pulling), with well cushioned knee pads, for up to 8 hours with 15 minute breaks every two hours.
You must:
Have your own reliable transportation
Possess a valid driver's license.
Live in the Eureka / Arcata area
Pass a background check.
Have the ability to communicate with members of the public with good communication skills.
Must be professional in appearance and actions.
Be punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
Maintain and care for company equipment and tools.
Not be afraid to get dirty and work down on the earth.
Perform highly physical work on a consistent basis.
Be willing to work as part of a friendly, cooperative team and take direction.
Have an eagerness to contribute excellent quality to the transformation of client property.
Be willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.
Prove that you can sometimes work independently.
Have integrity - job requires being honest and ethical.
Be a non smoker. No alcoholics, No hint of Meth use. No coming to work stoned or hung over.
Carry a weed whacker in your vehicle. You having a truck is a plus.

Special consideration given to applicants who have a truck and a means to carry tools. We pay generously for hauling green waste.
Even though we work hard, I definitely advocate all my workers and myself to work at a pace that is sustainable to healthfully keep going all day. We work hard, but not in the way that burns us out too quickly. In other words, we believe in taking care of ourselves and at the same time getting the job done.
