The Humboldt Senior Resource Center is currently recruiting for an individual to join our team in promoting the high quality of life for our local seniors.
The Dining Center Coordinator position is great for someone with a flexible schedule, or who would like to earn additional income while working for a great social service organization.
This person will be a substitute and will be scheduled in advance, or called upon on short notice to cover various shifts for our Eureka, Arcata, and/or Fortuna Dining Centers. This position is responsible for operations, activities, employees, volunteers, and food service for the assigned Dining Center and Home Delivered Meals routes. Training will be provided.
Shifts are approximately six (6) hours per day, depending on the location of the assignment.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have one (1) year of supervisory experience and one (1) year of work experience or education in one of the following areas: community nutrition, social work, psychology, gerontology, management, or another related field. Experience working in food service is preferred.
