Established, locally owned tile business seeking a full time showroom sales/design associate for our consistently busy retail showroom.
Carbonneau Ceramic Tile, Inc. is a licensed, bonded, and insured tile installation contractor with a retail showroom in Eureka, California, servicing the Humboldt County area. We specialize in custom tile installations for residential and commercial applications.

The showroom sales/design associate responsibilities:
Oversee the showroom floor, including the displays of merchandise, samples and inventory management
Work directly with customers, including homeowners, contractors, architects, and designers, to consult on various projects, make tile selections, place orders, and schedule appointments
Follow all safety guidelines and policies, including OSHA and company requirements
Load and unload materials; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Basic math skills, ability to read blue prints and design specs, detail-oriented planning and layout skills
Strong communication skills with project managers, tile setters, and customers
Must be able to follow directions, instructions, take thorough and concise notes for estimates, orders and designs; all while multi-tasking.
Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite & Quick Books.
Must be professional, courteous and willing to learn.

This fast paced, family-owned business is super busy and so much fun! You get to assist clients with designing the homes of their dreams and make new friends.
Typical work week consists of Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm; occasional overtime
Wages dependent upon work history
Requirements:
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Own a reliable form of transportation
Have a valid California driver's license
Have proof of current insurance
