Job Description:
One Log House Nursery is looking for a highly motivated individual to assist as a nursery technician, work in a team atmosphere, and propagate high quality cannabis clones for Cookies / Lemonnade brands. The candidate is expected to work independently and with other team members, while following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) around mother care, clone propagation and biosecurity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Mother plant care, clone propagation, troubleshooting pest and disease and maintaining a clean work environment.
Follow SOPs around biosecurity to ensure the facility is kept clean and pests and disease are not transferred to the nursery.
-Follow SOPs around pesticide application and ensure safe working practices and data entry for all pesticide use.
-Follow SOPs around nutrient application with extreme attention to detail and application so plant health is kept excellent.
-Follow SOPs around track and trace and work with the team to ensure the facility is compliant with current regulations.
-Work well in a team atmosphere and also have the ability to work well independently and follow instruction.
-Endure heavy lifting and long periods of working on feet.
Requirements:
-Must be 21 years of age or older.
-High school Diploma.
-Basic understanding of plant physiology, but no experience with cannabis is necessary.
-Basic knowledge of computers and data entry.
-Maintain a positive attitude.
