DescriptionRequirementsAn industry leading manufacturing company in Huntington Beach needs an ambitious and articulate Snr. Collections Specialist. This is a long-term temporary role responsible for the collection and accounting of funds that are due to the organization. This person will ensure that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization. Accurately process bankruptcy filings when received
Guarantee payments are processed
Maintain quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
Update customer files to ensure data integrity
Lead all billing and reporting activities according to deadlines
Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment
Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
Catalog all customer payments to the correct reports
Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial collections experience
AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
Any ERP experience is welcomed – we utilize MS Dynamics GP
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
