Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space and Security division is seeking a Systems & Field Engineering Manager in Huntington Beach, CA.Primary Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, mathematics, or physics
5+ years of experience in engineering leadership (in lead or manager role)
5+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in field engineering services
Experience with communication and interaction with other Boeing organizations, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure effective integration and execution of a plan
Experience with systems engineering of navigation systems
