The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of company’s IT Infrastructure and Helpdesk Service team. This individual is responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate and retail server, storage, computer, and network infrastructure. She/he will manage performance, reliability, capacity, and security to ensure robust and secure systems are maintained. Additionally, the Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for defining routine processes for server, storage, and backup operations, including patching and recovery. Additionally, this individual is responsible for leading the Helpdesk team in support of company's growing corporate and retail environments.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate and manage Office 365 and Azure Cloud Hosted Enterprise Systems and services
  • Manage all server and storage devices within company’s Infrastructure and leverage monitoring solutions to proactively ensure reliable, high-performance delivery of systems services
  • Manage and deploy the corporate and retail network environment and devices
  • Operate comprehensive monitoring capacity management solutions to ensure proactive problem detection and robust service availability throughout the Azure, corporate and retail environments
  • Operate backup and restoration capability to protect information assets and ensure business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Maintain device replacement life cycle upgrades, patches as needed for security and support
  • Partner with corporate security team to ensure requirements for PCI compliance are met
  • Partner with eCommerce team in support of website infrastructure
  • Perform escalation support for troubleshooting enterprise systems incidents, including off-hour and weekend support as needed
  • Define and develop documented policies, procedures, and processes
  • Develop, train, and provide work direction of Helpdesk and Systems Administration teams

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
  • Highly proficient in Windows implementation, management, and troubleshooting
  • Highly proficient in Office 365 and AD administration, including MFA, SSO, and AD Connect
  • Highly proficient in comprehensive server, storage, and security design as well as operational knowledge (VMware & Nutanix)
  • Proficient in O365 SharePoint and PowerApps Management.
  • Proficient in PowerShell Coding.
  • Proficient in Managing IT Operations using Zendesk.
  • Proficient in Network management using Meraki Cloud Networking.
  • Proficient in Phone System Management (ShoreTel Sky)
  • Proficient in Windows Server Application Support, including File Serving, IIS, SQL Server, DNS, DHCP, and more
  • Proficient in desktop engineering including endpoint security (anti-virus / malware protection) and deployment automation (Win 10 & Mac mixed Environment)
  • Other Useful Technical Experience include DUO, Monitis, PagerDuty, PowerBi, Intune, FortiWeb, Jamf, Magento.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to make decisions independently, or escalate when applicable
  • Ability to establish and foster effective cross functional relationships
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Technology
