In search for a Bartender/Bar Supervisor. Such individual will handle the bartender duties at the bar located inside the hotel premises in addition to sales & marketing initiatives to drive sales. This is a one person position, you will not be managing other people and you will report directly to the Hotel General Manager. If business does pick up, we will re-evaluate the need to hire more staff.
Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes
1. Knowledge the different types of beer & wine, wine.
2. Knowledge of federal, state and local liquor laws.
3. Knowledge of, and adherence to, sanitation and safety laws.
4. Computer competency.
5. Able to work in a high energy and demanding environment. Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
6. Organizational, problem solving and leadership skills.
7. Good sense of balance and able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.
8. Ability to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
9. Able to interact verbally and listen attentively to guests, co-workers, and Supervisors.
10. Effective and professional oral communication
Able to work weekends & holidays.
