We look forward to receiving your application and appreciate your flexibility and understanding.Our Payment Processor will image payment and non-payment mail utilizing a commercial payment processing machine, create and balance bank deposits resulting from the inbound mail, and manage the company vault. This position will also post payments to the system and ensure a high level of accuracy and speed.Responsibilities Include:Mail Handling

Batch incoming mail according to client contracts Image incoming mail using commercial machine Handle partials/fix it tickets Record and track all non-postable payments Scan incoming correspondence

Payment Posting

Complete software keying of payment images Manually post payments into accounts if needed Verify/Upload images for accuracy and deposit

Reporting/Data Entry

Complete all data entry into system of record Assist in FACS entry Complete logs to track incoming payments and data entry work Track correspondence and incoming payment data Create letters for non-postable payments

Deposits

Complete manual deposits including cash Verify deposits for ICL uploads Assist in resolving deposit discrepancies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma/ GED/ equivalent

6 months experience handling payments and payment research (additional education may substitute)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of all clients’ payment requirements preferred

Knowledge of all payment vendors preferred

Knowledge of ItemAge, Opex, FACS, Auto Process systems preferred

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Problem solving and decision-making skills

Attention to detail

Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 2013

Ability to navigate easily between internet, intranet and several proprietary systems in gathering and relaying information

Regular attendance during regularly-scheduled business hours

In-person interaction with co-workers and supervisors
